Randall Pippins, Sr.

Randall Pippins, Sr. has been deaf all his life. Born to deaf parents in Baton Rouge , he attended the Louisiana School for the Deaf (LSD) in 1963. He has been residing all his life in Baton Rouge .

 Shortly after graduation from LSD in 1977, he got a job with the State of Louisiana . He has worked for the State as a printer within the Division of Administration ever since. Mr. Pippins has deaf children of his own. Their names are Jonah, Randi and Randall, Jr. They were in the generation of LSD.

 The Louisiana Association of the Deaf (LAD) is to be commended for its service to the deaf community statewide and for safeguarding the rights of the Louisiana Deaf, Hard-of -hearing, Deaf-Blind and Speech-Impaired in our rapidly-changing society. Deaf community services have been continuously and steadily expanded to meet the immediate and future needs of our citizens.
